PHD STUDENT

I am a materials engineer who enjoys working on multi-disciplinary projects. I had investigated routes to fabricate nanoscaled semiconductors by Atomic Layer Deposition ALD. I worked, during my Master’s internship, at the Institute for Frontier Materials IFM at Deakin University, Australia, on the synthesis of photo-catalytically active metal oxide semiconductors for the degradation of organic compounds in water. I managed to fabricate ultrathin Tungsten oxide films, formed by ALD, with engineered morphology, crystalline structure and electronic structure to promote the photoelectron activity in the catalytic degradation of organic pollutants in water.
